Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs
All-terrain pushchair that provides lightweight durability and excellent maneuverability. The compact fold using one hand makes it easy to move. 3 wheel buggy can also stand on its own when folded. The padded seat reclines to a nearly flat position, and there's a huge storage bin and canopy. Baby-friendly? Yes and with a carrycot.
Air-filled tyres and a good suspension will handle rough terrain well. It's also suitable for jogging but you must wait until your baby is at least six or nine months old to do this.
Ickle Bubba Air
This lightweight pushchair by Ickle Bubba has a lot of features that parents will appreciate. The travel system includes a lie flat carrycot for infants as well as a multi-position rear and forward facing seat for a pushchair.
The XL Air is a really impressive car and it's easy to see why it's received such high praise from its customers. It's extremely light - the chassis and wheels weigh only 6.5kg - and it's also super-easy to construct. In fact I was able to complete the entire setup and running in just five minutes, which is pretty amazing considering that it also included attaching the fabric for the carrycot!
It has a comfortable, wide seat that is comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months old) and the recline lever is very easy to use. There's a good amount of space inside the basket and I like the fact that it has an open-top pocket on the handle bar so you can keep your phone and keys secure!
The only slight downside is that the handlebar is quite low, which can be a problem for taller parents. It's covered in soft, supple leather-like material, which is easy to wipe down.
Hauck Pushchair Runner
The Runner is made for sporty parents who can't wait to go outside and explore. The large pneumatic wheels are designed to be used on field and forest paths and the front wheel can be swivelled and locked for additional versatility. It also has a padded 5-point safety harness and front bar to ensure your child is safe on all trips, while the parking brake reliably prevents the stroller from moving while you rest. The comfy seat is easy to recline to a lying position and the canopy opens up to allow for maximum air circulation on hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm to accommodate mum or dad.
Whether you're going for an easy jog or a longer hike, the Runner is ready to accompany you on all your adventures with a comfortable, flat lie-flat seat and suspension air wheels that promise smooth, safe ride. The front wheel can be locked for greater stability on narrow streets and congested sidewalks, and the stroller folds easily to fit in car boot spaces and storage areas.
The Runner 2 is a bit more difficult to maneuver for some parents than its predecessor. Additionally, the locking system (requiring two buttons on either side of the handlebar) isn't as user-friendly. The handlebars are higher than the ones of other competitors, so they might not be suitable for smaller parents. However the stroller is durable and versatile and should be considered by active families.
Red Kite Push Me Pace
Red Kite's Pace is a great product from the affordable British brand. They are known for their well-designed, no-fuss products that are essentials for parents. It's the most recent and most expensive product in their bargain-priced lightweight stroller collection. It's also as with the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo it's car seat-compatible which means you can use it from the beginning (the carrycot folds away).
The new Pace boasts some fantastic design features, including a rose gold tint to the hood, chassis and stroller trims to make it stand out from its competitors. The stroller and car seat fabrics are fashionable in tan, grey and cream. You can also add a leather handle and bumper bar to complement.
It's suitable from birth to a max weight of 22kg. The stroller seat converts easily from a carrycot to a 2-in-1 reversible mode, parent or world-facing. The stroller seat features several lie-back positions, plus softly padded legs rests and an extendable sun canopy with concealed zip sections, a viewing see-through flap, and retractable visor.
When folded when folded, the Pace measures 56 x 43cm x 32cm, which allows it to be used as hand luggage on Easyjet and Ryanair. It's also easy to fold down, using two buttons on either side of the handlebar which just click in and pop up.
Bugaboo Fox 5
The idea behind it is to create the ultimate all-terrain pushchair Bugaboo's newest Fox 5 promises to do everything. Its unique chassis, which has a shorter wheel-distance makes it more mobile than its predecessor. I tested it with my two kids - an eight-week-old and a toddler - on rocky pavements along with grassy wooded trails and even cobblestones.
The large puncture-proof wheels, which measure 22cm or 30cm in size they can be used on a variety of terrains. The wheels come with an opening that can be closed or opened to let air in when required. It's a bit larger than some pushchairs, but it isn't heavy or bulky when pushing it across bumpy surfaces.
The fabric of the seat is machine washable, as are the frame and faux leather grips are easy to wipe down. It's also quieter than other pushchairs, and I felt at ease using it in busy city streets. It has integrated accessory points that allow you to attach parasols and footmuffs along with changing bags, snack trays, and even snack tray. You can also use the hood to block rain and wind, though it's not particularly waterproof. The single pram can be fitted with the Comfort Wheeled Board (not included) that gives your child more legroom. The bassinet took 20 minutes to put together and a similar time to convert it into an actual seat.
UPPAbaby Ridge
No matter if you're enjoying a morning jog under the stars or a moonlit stroll in the crisp air, the UPPAbaby Ridge turns every moment into a shared one. This all-terrain stroller was designed to keep you and your child engaged.

The suspension system that is patent-pending allows you to glide effortlessly on woodland paths while minimizing the impact on the legs and back of your child. And the reliable performance disc hand brake allows you to stop quickly, even when running downhill.
3 wheeled pushchair is at its best in every city scene, from bustling farmers' markets to street musicians performing music. The large basket can accommodate all your essentials and market purchases, while the huge canopy provides protection from wind and sun. The large front canopy opens to reveal two mesh peekaboo windows that allow you to monitor your little one's surroundings.
The Ridge's reversible seats lets you choose whether your child faces you, or the world ahead. Its simple foot brake system makes it easy for parents who are new. The reversible handlebar on the back is a wonderful feature that allows you to adjust it according to your height. The Ridge's fold, unlike many strollers, is stable and self-standing when folded.
iCandy Core
The new iCandy pushchair is packed with features that will be awe-inspiring to parents. It has a Multi-Mode Wheelbase and a groundbreaking LED Hub Light, which is a first for the industry. It also has an integrated Ride-on Board, which helps save on future costs and makes it simple for a tired toddler to join you on family outings.

The Core is available as either a travel system or single seat. It works with most popular car seats, such as the ones from Cybex Maxi Cosi Joie. It has the biggest seat unit of the iCandy line, meaning you can use it to help your baby's start and beyond. It's a beautifully designed pushchair that has premium knitted fabrics. The child's bumper bar and the handlebar that parents can adjust are made of soft leatherette. The fold-away calf supports is also very comfortable for children.
It was impressive how easily it folded and collapsed, even with the seat unit still attached. It is also easy to fit into your boot and hallway making it ideal for travel. The iCandy Core includes a variety of accessories, like an iCandy Core-branded changing rucksack and footmuff/liner.
